This painting is illustrated on page 133 in "The Life and Work of Edward Lamson Henry" book.
The painting is mentioned several times including that the stagecoach was built in
Concord,  New Hampshire in 1845. It ran from Newbergh to Ellenville, New York.
The painting has been in one family collection since it was painted in 1881.
