Clement Rollin Grant Biography
1849-1893

Born in Freeport, Maine, July 10, 1849. At eighteen he went to Europe, spending some months in study and observation in Great Britain and France. On his return to the States, he established a studio in Boston and became a member of the Boston Art Club.

His speciality was portrait and landscape painting. Grant exhibited at the Boston Art Club (1877-1893), National Academy of Design and the Paris Salons.

He died in 1893.
