Charles Robert Patterson Biography

Anglo-American. Born 1878 Southampton, England .Son of a shipbuilder.
Went to sea at age thirteen. Served on several vessels;
rounded Cape Horn four times. Left the sea in the 1920's;
settled in New York City to paint.
Died November 9, 1958, New York City.
